Ganeshpuri is a village in Maharashtra strongly associated with Bhagwan Nityanand. The Ganeshpuri institutional history says He came there in 1937, stayed near Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple and its hot spring, and later moved to Kailash Niwas as devotees increased.
Ganeshpuri in Nityanand Tradition
A separate Nityananda tradition source describes Ganeshpuri as Bhagavan Nityananda’s home from 1936 until 1961. Because the two published sources differ by one year, this website does not claim a single uncontested arrival year.
Why Pilgrims Come
The Samadhi shrine is a major focal point for devotees. The surrounding sacred landscape also includes Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple, hot springs and places associated with Bhagwan Nityanand’s Ganeshpuri years.
Location
The Ganeshpuri institutional website gives the postal location as At Post Ganeshpuri, Tal-Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India.
